Horses

Woody started his career as a reining horse and is a money earner.  Today he works on the ranch sorting and pushing cattle.  He is a little quirky and takes a skilled rider

Twister is our old man.  He was a rodeo horse doing speed events and was the go to horse for all ranch work.  Never a cow that could out match this horse.   As he got older he turned 4-h show horse and taught both our kids to ride.  I think this was his favorite job. Now in his mid 20's he is retired and is living the best life in the big pasture

Radar is full of character.  A horse that is bred to be a reining horse but is built and moves like an english horse.  He enjoys packing us around at shows and is quite good.  Yet when its time to work a cow he is locked and ready.  The kids have trained him to smile on command and his personality is comparable to a little sibling.  He loves to pick on his people and other animals.

EZ is the unicorn horse.  He was an amateur show horse and was very successful but his true love is kids.  Specifically little boys.  He took our son into the Ranch work shows and taught him the ropes while being very successful.  He was a go to for working cattle and safe enough for the kids to ride and use working cows on the ranch.  He is now enjoying semi-retirement but will always have a place in our hearts.  His blaze also looks similar to the Aflac duck!

Juanita is new to the family.  Bred and in training for reining.  She is the sweetest of mares who loves people and snuggles.  Looking forward to her future!
